The United Arab Emirates (UAE) defeated Hong Kong by six wickets in a match in the T20 triangular series on Sunday.
In the match played at Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu, the UAE chased the 150-run target set by Hong Kong at the loss of four wickets.
The UAE Captain Muhammad Waseem gathered 40 runs off 17 balls with four fours and three sixes while Khalid Shah contributed 37 runs for the country.
Put into bat after losing the toss, Hong Kong made 149 runs at the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs match.
Babar Hayat scored 66 runs with three fours and five sixes facing 45 balls.
Likewise, Ezaz Khan secured 48 runs. Hayat and Khan made 113 runs partnership for the fourth wicket.
Zahoor Khan of the UAE took four wickets while Nilansh Keswani sent two batters back to the pavilion.
