Hong Kong sets lowly 95-run target for Nepal

Hong Kong set a lowly target of 95 runs for Nepal in the ongoing Nepal T20I Triangular Series being held at the Mulpani Cricket Ground on Thursday.
Sent to bat first, Hong Kong’s batting line crumbled as they lost wickets in quick succession, being bowled out for 94 runs in 19.3 overs.
Opener Nizakat Khan was sent for a golden duck by Nepal’s Karan KC, while his opening partner Anshuman Rath was also dismissed cheaply for a 9-ball 7 in 2.3 overs. Rath was caught by Aasif Sheikh off KC.
Yasim Murtaza top-scored for the visitors, scoring 36 runs in his 36-knock play. Murtaza smashed two hits to the fences and a six, before being caught by Rohit Paudel off Abinash Bohara in 16.3 overs.
Similarly, wicketkeeper Zeeshan Ali also contributed 17 runs facing 20 deliveries, before being caught by Kushal Malla in 13.5 overs.
None of the other batters scored in double digits.
For the Rhinos, Karan KC grabbed four wickets, while Sompal Kami and Abinash Bohara also managed to dismiss two batters each. Kushal Malla and Mousom Dhakal also took a wicket a piece.
