Prime Minister Dahal announces Rs200,000 reward each for national cricketers
Nepal have become the second team to win all four matches of the League 2 triangular series among the seven series played so far.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has announced to felicitate the players of the Nepali cricket team with a cash price of Rs200,000 each in recognition of their outstanding performance during the Triangular Series of the ICC World Cup League 2.
The prime minister called the cricketers to Baluwatar on Thursday and congratulated them and also announced the cash prize.
“Congratulations to all of you for creating history by winning all four matches of the series. It a matter of pride for the country,” said Dahal. “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on behalf of all Nepalis. Good luck with the upcoming competition. I announce a cash prize of Rs200,000 each on behalf of the government to inspire you.”
Nepal on Wednesday registered a two-wicket victory over Scotland, to register win in all four matches of the League 2 triangular series among the seven series played so far.
They became the second team after Oman to achieve such a feat. Oman had won all four matches of the series at the same venue, defeating both Nepal and the USA in February 2020 in the doubleheader format.
