Bollywood actor Salman Khan was granted bail by Jodhpur court in the blackbuck poaching case dating back to 1998.
Khan was convicted on Thursday of killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan and sentenced to five years in prison. He was also fined IRs 10,000. He spent just two nights in Jodhpur jail.
The actor was granted bail on personal bond of IRs 50,000. The actor will have to seek permission from the court before travelling abroad.
Thousands of the actor’s fans gathered outside the court and danced and cheered after hearing the actor was granted bail.
