Journalist Sushil Sharma’s novel Anupama is set to be launched this February. Anupama, which is author Sharma’s third book, revolves around motifs such as love, politics and conflict.

The book tells the story of a journey of the eponymous character, Anupama, who enters into politics and becomes a parliament member even though she doesn’t have any prior experience in politics, a feat that matches several of our MPs today.

Sharma’s previous works Napuriyaka Ghauharu told a story of emotional and physical turmoil people had to go through during ten years long Maoist insurgency and Surkhetko Etibritta, a history of the Surkhet district.
