Aspiring actors from various parts of the nation have found a new platform to showcase their talent with the beginning of auditions for National Acting Competition 2016, a reality show to be broadcasted in Nepal Television.
The participants are being judged in view of their performance in-front of Actors Reecha Sharma, Dayahang Rai and Actor/Director Anup Baral. The trio along with Binod Poudel, Bikram Pariyar, and Mahesh Tripathi among others will also be mentoring the selected participants.
The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize worth Rs 250,000.

Similarly, the standout performers, to be decided by the jury, will also get a chance to act in movies, theater, music videos, advertisement (face of product & services), and short movies.
Likewise, there will also be a 35-day special acting course, basic modeling workshop, personality development courses that will include public speaking and communication skills development for the participants of the reality show.
The second round of auditions for the TV show will take place at Shilpee Theatre in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu on July 26.
The show is being organised by Anamnagar-based Next Models Nepal in partnership with iDream Animation Pvt. Ltd. and will be broadcasted on the national television during Nepali month Bhadra, according to the organisers.
