The reigning Miss Nepal, Evana Manandhar, has been making steady progress at the Miss World Pageant closed-camp being held at Sanya, China. Manandhar, who departed for China on Nov 20, has being participating in various activities along with the other contestants in build-up to the Dec 19 finale.

Manandhar was selected among the top ten contestants in the Dances of the World segment and will be performing her dance on the finale night, live, for worldwide TV audiences. Currently she is also positioned among the top five contestants in the Web Popularity Contest. The online voting contest allows audiences to vote for their favourite contestant. The votes can be cast at www.lvka168.com/missworld/vote, with audiences being able to vote once every day from as many devices as they chose.  

Miss World 2015 is the 65th edition of the popular beauty pageant and has 114 delegates contesting for the crown. The finale is slated to be held at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China and will be hosted by the Filipino-American actress Megan Young, the winner of the 2013 edition of the pageant.
