About this year’s Paleti, programme coordinator Aavaas says, “The purpose of Paleti is also to promote old musical compositions that have not been recorded. That is why we have tried to include old creations of Darjeeling in this year’s Paleti through the memories of Durga Kharel.”
Recalling his first Paleti in 2008, Kharel says, “This time, I am presenting songs by Darjeeling musicians that are in my personal memory. This programme is one of the most important works of my life.”
Tickets for the event can be purchased online on Paleti Nepalaya website. For those who are unable to attend the R Sala, Pay-Per-View is available to watch it live online.
