Bollywood spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, has entered the INR10 billion club at the global box office within 21 days of its release.
Released on December 5, ‘Dhurandhar’ has drawn a strong audience turnout across domestic and international markets. In India alone, the movie has grossed an estimated INR7.9 billion, while overseas takings contributed significantly to its global haul.
According to The Times of India, the espionage actioner continued to perform strongly in its third week, earning around INR260 million on Day 21, boosted by the Christmas holiday period. Trade trackers also reported that ‘Dhurandhar’ maintained healthy occupancy rates despite competition from other major releases.
The film’s box office run has surpassed several 2025 Hindi releases and outpaced milestones set by recent blockbusters.
The film has become the ninth Indian film to join the INR10 billion club. Before this, ‘Dangal’, ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, ‘RRR’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘Jawan’, ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ had done it.
Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, ‘Dhurandhar’ stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
A sequel, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, is slated for release on March 19, 2026.
