London to host second INFA
The event will honour achievements in the Nepali film industry across 26 categories.

The 2nd edition of the International Nepali Film Awards (INFA) 2025 will take place in London on September 13, 2025. Organised by INFA Events UK in collaboration with INFA Nepal and association with Manu Media Pvt Ltd, the event will honour achievements in the Nepali film industry across 26 categories.
On Monday, the top five nominees in 17 categories were presented with official nomination certificates at a ceremony at Hotel Radisson in Kathmandu. The finalists were selected from films released after June 2024 by a professional jury panel chaired by actress Gauri Malla, alongside members Ramesh Budhathoki and Karun Thapa.
At the event, Chief Coordinator Manish Karki emphasised that INFA is dedicated to promoting Nepali art, literature, language, and culture globally through cinema.
Speaking at the event, film personalities, including Nir Shah, Krishna Malla, Jeetu Nepal, Deepa Shree Niraula, Nita Dhungana, Barsha Siwakoti, Deeya Maskey, and Pushpa Khadka praised the award’s vision.
This year, the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to veteran actress Sharmila Malla, honouring her decades-long contribution to Nepali cinema.
The awards ceremony, which will be held at Greenford Hall, London, is expected to be a vibrant international celebration of Nepali cinema.
