Pawandeep Rajan, the winner of Indian Idol Season 12 and a well-known singer, has been seriously injured in a car accident. The accident happened in the early hours of Monday morning in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.

Two other people in the car with him are also injured. The vehicle was destroyed in the crash. All three were immediately referred to a hospital in Delhi for further treatment. According to ABP News, Rajan is currently stable and receiving treatment at Fortis Hospital.

The singer and his two friends were driving from Uttarakhand to Delhi when their car suddenly went out of control and crashed into another vehicle on the roadside. According to initial reports, the car driver fell asleep, which caused the accident.

Rajan is from Champawat, Uttarakhand. His music career began after he won The Voice India in 2015. Later, he won the title of Indian Idol Season 12. A few years ago, Rajan was in Nepal to perform.
