Post Report
A court in Ludhiana, Punjab, has issued an arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in connection with a one million Indian rupees fraud case. Despite being summoned multiple times, Sood did not appear in court, leading to the issuance of the arrest warrant.
The case pertains to a complaint filed by lawyer Rajesh Khanna against an individual named Mohit Shukla. Khanna accused Shukla of luring him into investing in counterfeit Rijika coins. The complaint also includes several other allegations. Sood was summoned as a witness in this case, but his repeated absence led the court to issue an arrest warrant against him.
Sood took to X and wrote that the news circulating his arrest is “highly sensationalised” and that he has “no affiliations” in the matter.
The warrant has been sent to Oshiwara Police Station in Andheri West, Mumbai, with orders to arrest Sood and present him before the court. The next hearing for the case is scheduled for February 10.
