IEC College organised the 13th ‘Interio Schema’ exhibition on Saturday.Post Report
IEC College of Art and Fashion organised the ‘IEC Interio Schema XIII’ on Saturday at the Marriott Hotel in Naxal, Kathmandu. This is the 13th edition of the annual interior design exhibition, which serves as a platform for final-year students of the college to showcase their innovative interior design models, inspired by the latest concepts and ideas.
The event was inaugurated by interior designer and Miss Nepal World 2016 Asmi Shrestha. Architect and restoration expert Rabindra Puri distributed the certificates to the students.
This year, the focus of the exhibition was on future-oriented commercial projects, including a wide range of establishments such as boutique hotels, cafes, restaurants and resorts, among others. According to IEC College, over 70 students presented their thesis topics, ranging from boutique hotels to car showrooms.
The exhibition featured various interior design model displays, product design displays, students’ paperwork displays, smart furniture displays, and a dedicated photo booth area for visitors to capture memorable moments.
