Nepal Literature Festival 2080
The annual Nepal Literature Festival is happening this week. Many writers, activists, artists, sportspeople, economists and politicians are set to take part in various discussions during the five-day event. The festival will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, on February 15.

क Bee’z Roundtable
Blind Rocks, in collaboration with Thoplo Arts, is organising क Bee’z Roundtable on February 10. Young and aspiring poets will come together to recite their poems on the theme ‘Sambodhan Nabhayeko Sundar Prem’, celebrating the beauty of love and challenging the conventional norm that overlooks the uniqueness of disability in romantic poems.

NAMAMI GANGÈ Exhibition

Siddhartha Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition by Seema Sharma Shah, titled ‘NAMAMI GANGÈ: HOMAGE TO THE GANGES’, featuring never-seen-before etchings and prints of the ghats of Benaras, as well as a continuation of Shah’s deities series. Felicity Volk, Australian Ambassador to Nepal, will open the exhibition on February 13.

Flowing Together Exhibition
Gallery Mcube is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Flowing Together’ by Saurganga Darshandhari and Prithvi Shrestha. The exhibit was opened by Naradmani Hartamchhali, the chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, on February 9.

Period Party
Organised by Pad2Go, Period Party is an informal get-together and safe space for open discussions, awareness-building, and community engagement on menstrual health policies and activism in Nepal. The event will feature two panel discussions on Nepal’s prison policy on access to menstrual products and the development and implementation of menstrual leave policies at the workspace.

Eric Valli presents Himalaya at KTM Film Club
