The Center offers eight routes, four rope supports, and personalised training from certified instructors. Founded in 2007 by Mariano Abello and Nirakar Yakthumba (bassist of 1974 AD), Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians in Nepal. Offering classes on a wide range of instruments, including guitar, bass, saxophone, drums, piano, violin, and vocal lessons, it provides both basic and advanced training. Its fundamental programme focuses on music theory through group and private lessons spanning six months to two years.
For those interested in pursuing jazz and contemporary music careers, the two-year Jazz Diploma program awaits, while a one-year Pop/Rock diploma is also available for enthusiasts of that genre.
