The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, and the hilly regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces on Sunday, with mainly fair conditions elsewhere.

Light snowfall is possible at one or two locations in Gandaki and Karnali provinces’ high hilly and mountainous areas.

Tonight, similar conditions will prevail, with partly cloudy skies in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and fair weather across the rest of the country.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division attributes these conditions to the influence of a westerly wind system and Cyclone “Phenjol” in the Bay of Bengal.

On Saturday, Janakpur recorded the highest temperature in the country at 32.6°C, while Jumla experienced the lowest at -4.4°C. Kathmandu’s temperatures ranged between 19.9°C and 7.0°C.
