With Dashain celebrations underway, people are leaving Kathmandu Valley for their hometowns in huge numbers.
People leave the Valley every year during Dashain to reunite with their family and friends.
In the past few days, traffic congestion has become a problem in various areas inside Kathmandu Valley. Major junctions where people board vehicles to their hometowns from are crowded with people leaving the Capital city for their villages.
The Dashain travel rush is the biggest annual migration in Nepal.
On Monday, people travelling outside Kathmandu valley thronged to Koteshwor to board buses.
