Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director Mukesh Raj kafle has resigned from his post. He went to PM's official residence in Baluwater on Friday to submit his resignation letter to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
A Cabinet meet on Thursday had deliberated on Kafle’s performance. Energy Minister Janardan Sharma has been expressing dissatisfaction over Kafle’s performance and it is learnt that he had sought resignation from Kafle.
PM’s press advisor Govinda Acharya informed that PM will initiate the process first after holding a discussion on the issue.
Kafle was appointed NEA’s chief during the tenure of late Sushil Koirala’s government.
