Bajhang
A landslide has blocked the Jaya Prithvi Highway near Tamail Bazar in Bajhang district, halting traffic since 5 am on Thursday.
The landslide occurred at Jalebagar, disrupting both long and short-distance travel to and from the district.
Vehicles travelling from Bajhang to Dhangadhi, Kathmandu, Mahendranagar, and Dadeldhura among other places have been stuck.
According to the police, an excavator has been deployed to clear the debris, but continuous landslides are hampering the efforts to reopen the road.
