Five people—two teachers and three students—were injured when lightning struck a community school in ward 6 of Naumule Rural Municipality of Dailekh district on Wednesday.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Dahal, one critically injured victim was rushed to the district hospital while others are receiving treatment at Naumule Primary Health Centre.

Similarly, four people were injured, three seriously, after being struck by lightning in ward 7 of Khaptadchhanna Rural Municipality on Tuesday evening.
