A 32-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Latikoili in ward 9 of Birendra Municipality in Surkhet on Tuesday.

 According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxman Shahi, Anil Patel, a permanent resident of Bara district, was found dead in his rented room with his throat slit.

A blood-stained chulesi, a Nepali kitchen knife, was recovered from the incident site. Detailed investigation is underway into the incident, said police.
