Three people died when a jeep met with an accident at Gavira in Subha Kalika Rural Municipality-6 of Kalikot district on Saturday night.

According to Kalikot District Police Office, the accident occurred when the jeep was heading to Shubha Kalika via Haudi from Chowki Bazar on the Beuli Pantadi road section.

Jayashwar Rimal, chief of Kalikot District Police Office, said a 30-year-old jeep driver of Subha Kalika-2, a 31-year-old man of Subha Kalika-8 and a 25-year-old man of Naumule in Dailekh died in the crash.

He said that the cause of the accident is yet to be known and the incident is being investigated.
