North Korea beat Nepal 11-0 to win U20 Women’s Asian Cup Group A
The three-time world and two-time Asian champions qualify for next year’s finals in Thailand.

North Korea hammered Nepal 11-0 in Thimphu, Bhutan, on Sunday to finish top of Group A in the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers and secure their place in the mega event to held in 2026 in Thailand.
The three-time world and two-time Asian champions dominated the match from start to finish, earning their third consecutive win of the campaign. They had earlier defeated Saudi Arabia 15-0 and hosts Bhutan 10-0, ending the group stage with nine points.
The heavy loss left Nepal with four points from three matches, following a 1-1 draw with Bhutan and a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia. Their final group position will depend on the result of Sunday’s later fixture between Bhutan and Saudi Arabia.
North Korea will now prepare for the U20 Women’s Asian Cup finals, which will be held in Thailand next year.
