Saff U-15 Championship: Nepal defeat Maldives 6-0
Nepal youth team got off to a flying start in their Saff U-15 Championship by defeating Maldives 6-0 at Anfa Complex on Monday. Brijesh Chaudhary opened the scoring for Nepal in the 10th minute and Darshan Gurung added another goal in the next 10 minutes. Captain Roshan Ranamanagar converted a penalty in the 36th minute, while Aakash Buda Magar scored the forth in 45th minute.
Roshan Dong scored another goal in the early second half, while Brijesh scored his second goal in 73rd minute from 20-yard.
With the victory, Nepal have entered into the semi-finals of the tournament from Group B. Nepal will take on India on Wednesday that will decide the top of the group.
Earlier on Saturday, Indian had routed Maldives 9-0 in the group match.
