After beginning its operation at the end of 2013, it has been successfully catering to the motor racing enthusiasts of different age.  Go Kart Racing Nepal’s promoter Akash Golchha, a motor sports enthusiast himself, said it was the need of the hour to come with such a concept of racing.

“The number of people with disposable incomes in Kathmandu is high and growing. With the lack of fun activities available here, Go Karting makes a golden outlet. It is exciting, affordable, easily accessible and addictive,” he said.

“People like to drive at top speeds and race, but this is not possible while driving on the road. It is dangerous and a certain speed limit has to be maintained. In Go Kart, top speeds can be enjoyed without hampering safety regulations. The sensation one gets while driving is similar to that of a Formula One car at a reduced speed,” added Golchha.
