Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Sulav Kharel has widened his lead in Rupandehi-2 as vote counting continues.
According to the latest results, Kharel has secured 16,788 votes. CPN-UML Vice-chair Bishnu Paudel is trailing with 3,517 votes, leaving Kharel ahead by 13,271 votes.
Nepali Congress candidate Chunna Prasad Sharma Paudel has received 2,264 votes. Nepali Communist Party candidate Subash Pandey (Bishwadeep) has secured 463 votes.
Bhim Bahadur Gautam of the Shram Sanskriti Party has received 402 votes.
