Two boys drowned while swimming in a river in Kapilvastu district on Thursday evening.
According to the District Police Office, Kapilvastu, boys aged 11 and 10, of Banganga Municipality, died while swimming in the Ghola river in ward 10 of Kapilvastu Municipality.
The bodies were recovered by a police team deployed from the temporary police post in Jahadi, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ripendra Kumar Singh, the district police spokesperson.
