According to police, the body of 26-year-old Bhojraj Aslami Magar, from ward 6 of Guthichaur Rural Municipality in Sindhuli district, was discovered five days after he went missing. He was working as an excavator operator at a temporary camp along the under-construction Ramdi-Ranimahal road section of the Kaligandaki Corridor.
Magar was last seen on the evening of March 10 after having dinner with his colleagues. His mobile phone was found on his bed, and CCTV footage revealed that he had left the camp at 2am the following day. His body was later found on the banks of the Kaligandaki River in ward 6 of Baganaskali Rural Municipality, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla.
Similarly, the body of 45-year-old Tej Bahadur Raskoti from ward 3 of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-3 in Dang was recovered three days after he drowned while bathing in the river on March 13. His body was found 200 metres downstream, according to the District Police Office.
