Two Armed Police Force personnel of Bhalubang have been arrested on the alleged rape charge of two minor girls.

An eight-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl who reportedly went to play on a swing were allegedly raped on October 10.

The Armed Police Force detained both officers on Wednesday only after pressure from the locals.

Bharat Roka Magar and Rewan Pachbhaiya Magar of the APF’s battalion number 29, Jwalamai battalion Bhalubang, were arrested following the complaint of rape.

According to the Police, they have been remanded in police custody for seven days for further investigation.
