Deukhuri (dang)
Work on the Gachchhe-Bhalubang road, which aims to link Sandhikharka of Arghakhanchi district with Lumbini’s provincial headquarters Deukhuri of Dang, is moving at a snail’s pace.
It is estimated that it will take around five years to complete the 64 km road project.
The road project was started some 24 years ago. Once the Gachchhe-Bhalubang road project is completed, it will reduce the travel time along the existing Sandhikharka-Gorusinge-Bhalubang road by half to reach the provincial headquarters from Sindhikharka.
