Hetauda

The alternative route between Hetauda and Kathmandu via the Kulekhani-Kalanki-Humane section will be closed for 19 days starting Friday.

The District Administration Office, Makawanpur, issued a notice on Tuesday announcing the decision. Chief District Officer Scheme Shrestha said the 19-day closure is for widening and blacktopping the road.

The Hetauda Infrastructure Development Office, Makawanpur, is managing a contract to upgrade and prepare the road for blacktopping.

Commuters are advised to use alternative routes such as the Kanti Lokpath or the Kulekhani-Sisneri-Pharping road during the closure.
