Eleven people were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a microbus at Ekhatia in ward 4 of Dudhauli Municipality along the Madan Bhandari Highway on Thursday.
Police said the motorcyclist is in critical condition.
The accident occurred when a microbus heading to Kathmandu from Udayapur collided with a motorcycle travelling from Dakaha to Dudhauli.
The injured are receiving treatment at Sirtauli Municipal Hospital, said Superintendent of Police Govindaraj Kafle, chief of the District Police Office, Sindhuli.
Police have taken the microbus driver, who sustained minor injuries, into custody.
