Bagmati Chief Minister Jammakattel to go for floor test on March 22

Bagmati Chief Minister Shalikram Jammakattel is set to take the vote of confidence from the provincial assembly next week.
Krishna Hari Khadka, chief secretary of the provincial assembly secretariat, said a meeting has been called for 3pm on March 22 after the chief minister requested the secretariat to make necessary arrangements for the floor test.
The chief minister will seek a trust vote after the Rastriya Prajatantra Party pulled out of the government.
A total of three ministers of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party in the Bagmati government resigned on February 25 after the CPN (Maoist Centre) ditched the then coalition to form a new alliance with the Nepali Congress ahead of the Presidential election.
The current Cabinet has ministers from the CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Centre).
