A cyclist died after being hit by a truck at a major crossing in Itahari, Sunsari, on Friday afternoon.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Navin Krishna Bhandari, the deceased is 42-year-old Ramchandra Shrestha of Bhojpur.

DSP Bhandari said police are investigating the incident by studying CCTV footage.
