Shyam Kumar Ghimire nominated NC chief whip
Congress President Deuba nominated Ghimire for the post as former chief whip Lekhak was appointed home minister.

Shyam Kumar Ghimire has been nominated as the chief whip of the Nepali Congress for the House of Representatives.
Issuing a press release, Congress said that party President Sher Bahadur Deuba nominated Ghimire to the post on Saturday.
The move comes after former chief whip Ramesh Lekhak was relieved of his duty after being appointed as the home minister on July 15.
Nepali Congress, the largest party in the House of Representatives, joined the government after signing a deal with the CPN-UML on July 1.
