Kalikot
Mahendra Bahadur Shahi of the Nepali Communist Party has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kalikot in the March 5 election.
Shahi secured 11,338 votes to defeat Nagindra Shahi of the CPN-UML by a margin of 986 votes. The UML candidate received 10,352 votes.
Nepali Congress candidate Harsha Bahadur Bam secured 7,133 votes. Khadga Bahadur Biswokarma of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) received 4,599 votes, while Prakash Neupane of the Rastriya Swatantra Party secured 2,937 votes.
