10 injured in Dhankuta jeep accident

Dhankuta
At least 10 people were injured when a jeep overturned in Tekunala in ward 8 of Dhankuta Municipality on Sunday morning.
According to Superintendent of Police Sharat Kumar Thapa Chhetri, the jeep lost control and overturned when the passengers, all locals, were heading to Dhankuta Bazar to observe the Gaijatra festival.
Most of the injured are receiving treatment at Dhankuta Hospital, while three critically injured have been referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
Police said further details are awaited.
