A technician died from electrocution in Solududhkunda Municipality-11, Tingla, of Solukhumbu district, on Saturday afternoon.
DSP Manojit Kunwar said that Rabin Basnet, 35, a resident of Bhittakharka in Solududhkunda-7, sustained severe injuries while repairing a transformer on the central power transmission line at Ghunsa, around 1 pm.
Basnet, who was employed as a technician through Garud Security Service, died while receiving treatment, the police said.
