Kathmandu calls for dialogue and cautions Nepali citizens amid rising tensions.
Post Report
Nepal has expressed deep concern over the recent escalation of hostilities between Iran and Israel.
In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged both nations to avoid further escalation and to pursue dialogue through diplomatic channels for peace and regional stability.
Tensions between Iran and Israel have intensified recently following a series of military strikes and retaliations. Israel launched an operation targeting Iranian commanders and missile facilities, while Iran has threatened retaliatory missile and drone strikes, raising fears of a wider conflict.
Nepal's missions in Doha and Tel Aviv are closely monitoring the situation and remain in contact with the Nepali communities in both countries, the ministry said.
Nepalis residing in Iran and Israel have been advised to stay alert, follow local guidance, and exercise caution amid the ongoing conflict.
Nepal emphasised that peaceful negotiations are essential to prevent further violence and instability in the region.
