Nepal’s ambassador to Portugal presents credentials
Ambassador Paudel discusses strengthening bilateral ties and the establishment of Portuguese embassy in Nepal.

Nepal’s newly appointed ambassador to Portugal Prakash Mani Paudel has presented his credentials to Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Ambassador Paudel submitted his credentials at a ceremony held on Monday at the Belém Palace in Lisbon.
Following the submission, he held a courtesy meeting with the president.
According to the Nepali Embassy in Lisbon, they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and Portugal and enhancing mutual interests and cooperation.
President Sousa congratulated Ambassador Paudel and wished him success in his tenure. During the meeting, the ambassador also requested the president to support the establishment of a Portuguese embassy in Nepal to further strengthen diplomatic ties, trade, and tourism.
Appointed as Nepal’s ambassador to Portugal in December, Paudel arrived in Portugal on March 5 to assume his duties.
