Newly appointed ambassador to Sri Lanka takes oath

Purna Bahadur Nepali, Nepal’s newly appointed ambassador to Sri Lanka, has taken the oath of office and secrecy before President Ramchandra Paudel.
At a ceremony held at the President’s Office on Wednesday, President Paudel administered the oath to Ambassador Nepali.
Nepali was appointed as residential ambassador to Sri Lanka on March 3, following endorsement by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.
Top government officials were present at the swearing-in ceremony.
