4.8 magnitude quake strikes Sindhupalchok

Kathmandu
An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck Sindhupalchok on Thursday afternoon, with its epicentre at Majhitar of the district.
According to Monika Jha, spokesperson for the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, the quake was recorded at 1:02pm.
Tremors were also felt in neighbouring districts, as well as the Kathmandu Valley. There are no reports of damage or casualties so far.Most Read from National
