President Ram Chandra Paudel will be offering tika to the general public today on the occasion of Bada Dashain. The ceremony will take place at the President’s residence, Shital Niwas, from 3:30 pm.

Anyone wishing to receive tika is welcome to visit Shital Niwas between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm, according to a statement from the President’s Office.

Prior to this, President Paudel is scheduled to offer tika and jamara to VVIPs and VIPs from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Dignitaries, including lawmakers, the Deputy Prime Minister, provincial chiefs, ministers, justices, and officials from constitutional bodies, will be receiving blessings from the Head of State. Civil servants, as well as members of the Nepali Army and Nepal Police, will also be part of the tika ceremony.

President Paudel will receive tika from his 94-year-old elder brother, Dundiraj Paudel, as part of the Bijaya Dashami celebrations.

Additionally, the President will take tika and jamara from his gurus during the auspicious hour of 11:36 am. Following this, he will offer tika to his family members, including the First Lady, Sabita Paudel, as per the President's personal secretariat.
