Province heads assume office
President Ramchandra Paudel removed three province heads on the government’s recommendation and appointed new ones on Wednesday.

Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar of Rolpa assumed office as the head of Lumbini Province on Friday.
Magar replaces Amik Sherchan and is the fourth province head.
Likewise, Bagmati Province Head Dipak Prasad Devkota and Karnali Province Head Yagya Raj Joshi also assumed their offices.
President Ramchandra Paudel removed three province heads on the government’s recommendation and appointed new ones on Wednesday.
The government recommended dismissing them following the changes in the federal government.
