Speaker Devraj Ghimire on Monday recommended former government secretary Suresh Adhikari for the position of secretary of the House of Representatives.

Speaker Ghimire recommended Adhikari’s name to President Ramchandra Paudel for appointment as per Article 106 of the Constitution and Section 3 of the Act on Remuneration, Conditions of Service and Facilities of General Secretary of Federal Parliament and Secretaries of House of Representatives and National Assembly.

Adhikari, who hails from Khandbari Municipality-2 of Sankhuwasabha district, retired from government secretary a few months ago.
