FMTC to sell subsidised rice at a discounted price

The Simkot branch of the Food Management and Trading Company (FMTC) is going to sell subsidised rice at a discounted price targeting the Dashain and Tihar festivals from October 8.
According to Krishna Prasad Adhikari, head of the Simikot branch of the company, a discount of Rs7 per kg will be given on all types of rice sold from the branch, and the discount will last until November 22.
Currently, 2,300 quintals of rice has been sent to the warehouse of the branch.
Only 2,200 quintals of rice will be sold to the locals, and 100 quintals of rice will be set aside for the district prison and family functions such as births and deaths, said Adhikari.
