Security personnel recovered a huge cache of marijuana meant to be smuggled into India from Malangawa, the district headquarters of Sarlahi, on Friday night.
According to Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi, 164 kilograms of marijuana were seized near the Nepal-India border.
According to him, a group of five people were heading to India carrying the contraband. The suspects fled by leaving the marijuana after they saw the security patrol, said police.
