Two people died after falling off a cliff in Dhading district on Monday.
According to police, a 19-year-old woman and her two-year-old son of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-2 fell to death at around 5:30pm.
Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra said the woman, who was seven-month pregnant, was cutting grass at a local forest carrying her son when she fell off the cliff.
Mishra said the child died on the spot while the woman breathed her last at around 9pm while undergoing treatment at Malekhu City Hospital.
The bodies will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
