Humla
Humla, a mountain district in Karnali, witnessed the season’s first snowfall on Thursday night.
Continuous snowfall since then has brought life to a standstill in the villages.
According to Sita Pariyar, chief district officer, the district has been experiencing extreme weather conditions for the past few days which has led to an increase in patients suffering from cold and fever.
Flights and vehicular movement have been disrupted due to snowfall.
