Cinematographer Bidur Pandey has passed away. He was 55.
According to family sources, Pandey died following a cardiac arrest on Wednesday morning.
Pandey had been active in the filming sector for the last 35 years. He also worked as director of photography for Kantipur Television and Nagarik Network.
Apart from filming various music videos and advertisements, Pandey was the cinematographer for Nepal’s first digital movie–Kaagbeni. He was also the director of photography for multiple films including ‘Swor’, ‘Bhuimanche’, ‘Mero best friend’, ‘Pandit bajeko lauro’, ‘Jung Bahadurko coat’ among others.
Pandey is survived by his wife and a son.
